Snow Removal Job Opportunities

Kodiak Snow Removal Inc. is looking to hire snow removal operators and shovellers for work in the Stittsville and Kanata areas. You do not need experience to apply; only a willingness to learn and pride in quality of work. Kodiak values safety and therefore provides a comprehensive hands-on training course with trainers experienced in every aspect of snow removal operations.

Walkway Shovellers ($400/wk, Seasonal Contract)

• 24/7 on-call availability from Nov. 1 to Last Snowfall for manual walkway shoveling and initial preparation of route for 10-16 hrs per week, once per week + follow-up work for drifted snow if necessary
• Paid training
• 20-Week contract
• Performance & Quality Bonuses
• Must have own transportation
• Valid G license
• Must be conscientious, attentive to detail, and able to work autonomously quickly

Tractor Drivers ($450-$550/Wk, Seasonal Contract)

• 24/7 on-call availability from Nov. 1- Last Snowfall for tractor driving and removal of driveway markers 12-15-hour snow-storm shifts, once per week + follow-up work (for day-after city plow activity & snow drifting)
• Fixed weekly salary depending upon experience.
• 20-Week contract

• Brand new equipment with 2-way radios in all tractors
• Must have own transportation
• Valid G license
• Must be conscientious, attentive to detail, and able to work under pressure
